Chief Financial Officer, Prudential Assurance Company Singapore
Ury is the Chief Financial Officer for Prudential Singapore Assurance Company (Pte) Limited. He has over two decades experience across both the Life and General Insurance sectors, which includes a number of Chief Financial Officer roles across Asia. These roles have encompassed representation in various industry working groups spanning the development of industry capital frameworks and accounting standard adoption.
Prior to his experience in Asia, Ury held multiple senior finance leadership roles in the United Kingdom, which also involved supporting the UK Association of British Insurers in aspects of policy development with the UK Government Department of Work and Pensions.
He is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and holds both a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Murdoch University.
