Chief Technical Officer, Allianz Insurance Singapore
Wong Jing Yean is the Chief Technical Officer of Allianz Insurance Singapore Pte. Ltd. As the CTO, Mr Wong is responsible in the overall strategic direction, leadership and management of underwriting, reinsurance, pricing and product development of the organisation.
Mr Wong started his Allianz career in Allianz Malaysia in 2010 in the Actuarial Department, before moving to Allianz Asia Pacific in Singapore in 2014. In 2017 he moved to be the Head of Product & Pricing under the AGCS Bancassurance team, covering the markets of Hong Kong and Singapore, before joining AIS in 2019.
With over 10 years of industry experience, he has been involved in multiple geographic location in the Asia region, covering all Technical functional areas including product development, actuarial pricing, capital and valuation, underwriting, reinsurance, and mergers & acquisitions.
Mr Wong graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Admin (BSBA) majoring in Actuarial Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and a fellow of the Singapore Actuarial Society (FSAS).
