Tatsuya has a history of working in the insurance industry for nearly four decades within MS&AD Group. Starting his career as a Marine Underwriter, Tad had been in charge of Global Conglomerates providing marine and non-marine insurance services to his clients including Captive Management. During his career, he has experienced a variety of tasks which includes Underwriting, Client Coordination, Internal Auditing and Corporate Planning. He also has 15 years in total of experience working abroad in the UK and the US. He was the Head of Production of MSIG's UK Operation during April 2011 and March 2016, and the Executive Vice President of MSIG'S Americas Operation during April 2018 and March 2022 overseeing Corporate Strategy, Finance, Underwriting and IT etc.
From April 2023, Tad has been in charge of the Industry and Government Affairs, and in this role he has built and strengthened relationship with various Public Sector entities, including that of Governments and International Organizations. From April 2025, he is now in MS&AD Group Holdings' Sustainability Division and pursues providing Nature Based Solutions for risk reduction initiatives to help narrowing Nat Cat related Protection Gap and creating a risk-resilient society.
Tatsuya holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce Degree from Keio University, Japan.
