Head of Southeast Asia, Corporate Risk & Broking, WTW
Rupert Roberts is the Head of Southeast Asia for WTW's Corporate Risk and Broking business. Rupert oversees the WTW business in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, The Philippines and Brunei.
Prior to his current role, Rupert was Chief of Staff, responsible for strategic projects and working with strategic clients in Asia.
Rupert spent the past eight years living in Asia, working at various multi-national brokers. He has predominantly focused on supporting large and multi-national Asian domiciled clients on their corporate risk and insurance needs. Rupert brings experience across the retail, wholesale and specialty insurance segments in Europe and Asia Pacific, having worked with some of the region's most prominent organisations. His experience extends across all major lines of business, includes alternate risk transfer and captives and global programmes. Rupert has worked with clients across a number of industries, including: Conglomerates, Real Estate, Natural Resources, Retail, Financial Institutions and Construction.
Rupert holds a bachelor's degree in Business from Lancaster University Management School, UK, an MBA from Warwick Business School, UK and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK.
