The Global Asia Insurance Partnership (GAIP) is delighted to welcome QBE Asia (QBE) as a Supporting Partner. This partnership reflects a shared endeavour to strengthen resilience across Asia by addressing protection gaps and emerging risks through collaboration, evidence, and practical action.
GAIP's research-driven approach and role as a neutral convenor, supports collective efforts to advance long-term risk resilience across the region, which aligns closely with QBE's global purpose of enabling a more resilient future.
“We are pleased to welcome QBE as a Supporting Partner,” said Min Hung Cheng, CEO of GAIP. “QBE brings deep expertise in insurance and risk management across APAC, and we look forward to collaborating with QBE to support evidence-based research and dialogues, and strengthen risk understanding, towards a more sustainable and resilient Asia.”
Ross Bethell, Head of Partnerships, QBE Asia, said: “No single organisation is capable of addressing all the new and existing insurance gaps in Asia alone. That is why the mission and work of GAIP, in bringing together insurers, regulators, policymakers and academia to create solutions that overcome these gaps is vitally important to us, and to the people, businesses, and communities we support. We look forward to working closely with GAIP and our fellow partners, as we foster a more resilient Asia.”
As a Supporting Partner, QBE Insurance will have the opportunity to engage with GAIP through its working groups, dialogues, and collaborative initiatives. This includes access to GAIP research, tools, and workshops to deepen understanding of key and emerging risks, participation in multi-stakeholder dialogue platforms, and opportunities to exchange insights and help co-shape perspectives on pressing risk challenges facing the region.
