Director
Leona is the Director of Fundraising and Partnerships at the Global Asia Insurance Partnership (GAIP), where she leads strategic engagement with industry players and philanthropic partners across Asia. With over 15 years of experience spanning social entrepreneurship, business development, and international fundraising, she brings a cross-sector, impact-driven approach to partnership development.
Prior to joining GAIP, Leona led philanthropic and corporate fundraising at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), supporting university-wide initiatives and impact programmes across the region. Before NTU, she served as the Global Head of Corporate Partnerships at Animals Asia, where she built multinational corporate alliances and expanded the organisation's fundraising footprint across key Asian markets. Earlier in her career, she founded and ran a social enterprise, further strengthening her expertise in mission-led innovation and stakeholder engagement.
Leona holds an MBA from the University of Warwick, Warwick Business School.
