General Counsel, Asia General Insurance, AIG (APAC)
Pamela Yeo is Head of Insurance Legal for Asia Pacific. She is responsible for legal affairs of the General Insurance business operations and services entities across APAC (including India) and China.
In 2004 Pamela joined AIG's Southeast Asia regional office in the Legal & Compliance department before becoming General Counsel for the region in 2006. She was appointed General Counsel of Asia Pacific in 2010 and assumed her current role in 2012 when her responsibilities expanded to cover AIG Japan. Prior to joining AIG, Pamela spent 12 years in private practice before moving into an in-house regional legal position at Unilever Asia Pte. Ltd.
Pamela sits on the Board of AIG Asia Pacific Insurance Pte. Ltd. and previously served as Chair of the Board of AIG China as well as Board Director of AIG insurance entities across the region. She holds an LL.B. (Hons) from the National University of Singapore and was called to the Supreme Court of Singapore in 1990.
