He earned a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Industrial Technology from Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) in 1984 and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, USA, in 1994.
He has more than 30 years of experience in the banking sector. He began He has more than 30 years of experience in the banking sector. He began 2008 to 2018, he served as a member of the Board of Directors at Bank Mandiri, with his final role as Director of Operations.
In 2018, he was appointed Director of Strategic Services at MIND ID, and from 2020 to 2022, he served as Vice President Commissioner of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk.
In July 2022, he was sworn in as a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Indonesia Financial Services Authority/Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) for the 2022–2027 term. He currently serves as Chief Executive of Insurance, Guarantee, and Pension Fund Supervision, in accordance with the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector Law.
