Insurance Commissioner Reynaldo A. Regalado is a lawyer and career government executive with extensive involvement in matters concerning the insurance industry and overseas labor policies and legislation. He holds civil service and career service executive eligibilities since his tenure in public service in 1983. His fields of expertise are insurance, labor, immigration, corporation and commercial law, public advocacy, and election law.
He obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 1988. He likewise completed his Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree from the University of the Philippines School of Economics in 1982.
He currently holds the position of Chairman at the Asian Reinsurance Corporation and is an incumbent Member of the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC).
