The Global Asia Insurance Partnership (GAIP) is an innovative tripartite partnership between academia, insurance supervisors, and the insurance industry in Asia. Our vision is to create a more resilient future. We do this through:

Description of Role:
This Director leads GAIP's fundraising strategies, donor relations, strategic partnerships, and external communications, ensuring alignment between organisational objectives and stakeholder engagement.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and lead fundraising strategies targeting diversified sources, including corporate donors, philanthropic organisations, multilateral agencies, and industry partners.
· Drive the engagement of funding stakeholders and development of funding proposals, including overseeing the end-to-end process of any relevant processes, ensuring GAIP meets its funding targets every year.
· Manage comprehensive donor relationship management processes, ensuring ongoing engagement and reporting to secure sustainable resources.
· Support the CEO in strategic partnership development, identifying opportunities for collaborations and alliances that align with GAIP's vision and mission.
· Drive and manage stakeholder outreach and engagement activities to enhance GAIP's profile and influence, including outreach and engagement with key organisations to ensure GAIP's visibility on the relevant global stage.
· Oversee external communications strategy, leading the communications team in ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across platforms.
· Collaborate closely with CEO and other Directors to effectively communicate GAIP's strategic value proposition.
· Regularly evaluate and adapt fundraising and partnership strategies in response to evolving organisational needs and opportunities.
· Support other initiatives or operational matters as required.
Key Requirements:
· At least 10 years of experience in fundraising, strategic partnership management, donor engagement, and stakeholder communications.
· Demonstrated ability and proven track record of successfully managing fundraising efforts from diverse sources, achieving substantial funding targets.
· Strong network of contacts within industry, philanthropy, and multilateral institutions.
· Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder relationship management skills.
· Proven leadership capability, particularly in managing teams and aligning cross-functional objectives.
